When Disney Cinemagic was launched, replacing Toon Disney in 16 March 2006, the logo was considerably different from logos of other Disney channels at the time.

On 3 September 2007, Disney Cinemagic received a new logo which was more in line with the other Disney Channel logos.

On 28 March 2013 in the UK & Ireland, the channel was shut down and replaced by Sky Movies Disney.

Sky Movies Disney was launched on 28 March 2013, replacing Disney Cinemagic and closing Sky Movies Indie. On the same day, Sky Movies Select replaced Sky Movies Classics.

On 31 December 2020, Sky Cinema Disney closed and was replaced by Sky Cinema Five Star Movies until 6 January 2021, when Five Star Movies was replaced with a revival of Sky Cinema Premiere +1.
