On 13 December 2004, Sky Crime launched as LivingTV2.
In February 2007, just like its sister channel LIVING, LIVINGtv2 became LIVING2 and new idents and presentation launched just as LIVING's.
Living2 was renamed Livingit on 30 November 2009. At the same time, new identities for both Living and Livingit were developed by Red Bee Media and Virgin Media's in-house team.
In 2011, "Sky" was added to the name, along with a re-branding. Despite Sky Living changing its logo colour from pink to grey on 30 September 2013, Sky Livingit kept pink until June 2015.
In June 2015, Sky Livingit became Real Lives.
On 21 August 2019, Sky announced plans to launch two new channel brands within its entertainment portfolio. Real Lives was renamed to Sky Crime on 1 October and Sky Comedy replaced Universal TV on 27 January 2020.
