Sky News on WIN is a collaboration with the companies News Corp Australia and WIN Television. The TV channel began transmission on 2 September 2018 on Freeview channel 83 in Southern NSW and the ACT, Griffith, Regional Victoria, Mildura, Queensland, Tasmania, Mount Gambier/Riverland and Western Australia, and on channel 53 in Northern NSW and the Gold Coast.

On 31 July 2021, Sky News on WIN ceased broadcasting on the WIN Network except in Northern NSW, Griffith, and South Australia which began broadcasting Sky News Regional on channel 53 on 1 August. Sky News Regional now also broadcasts on channel 56 via SCA in Regional Victoria, Southern NSW, and Regional Queensland.

On 30 June 2024, Sky News Regional ended its broadcasts in Griffith and South-East South Australia after an unsuccessful renewal of the affiliation agreement with WIN. In July 2025, Network 10 and Sky News signed an agreement to continue airing Sky News Regional following 10's acquisition of SCA's television stations in regional Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.
