1987–1989
Sky Sports
Prelaunch
Before the launch, it originally consisted of a cloud background (which Sky dropped from all of its channels) with a globe superimposed over the 1991 Sky Sports text logo. This would later be used at the launch.
1991–1993
In 1991, Sky Sports was launched.
1993–1995
In 1993, Sky Sports (along with Sky's channels) debuted a new look with the help of GRFX/Novocom.
1995–1997
In 1995, yet another new look was designed by GRFX/Novocom for all of Sky's channels (including Sky Sports).
1997–1998
1998–2002
Sky Sports got a new look with the launch of Sky Digital on 1 October 1998, thus removing the "egg" look from all of Sky's channels.
2002–2007
In 2002, the logo kept its traditional 1998-2007 red and blue colour scheme, but debuted a new font (to coincide with Sky's font still being used until 2009 or 2010).
2007–2009
In 2007, the colours were inverted from red and blue, to blue and red in order to coincide with Sky Sports' new graphical change.
2009–2015
In 2009, the logo went through another change alongside new graphics.
