In 2020, Microsoft changed the Snip & Sketch icon to fit the new Fluent Design language. This logo was originally designed for Windows 10X, but was only used on Windows 10 version.

As the Snip & Sketch application was renamed to Snipping Tool on Windows 11, the Snip & Sketch name will be kept on Windows 10 as the old version of Snipping Tool is still present.
