Sonic 3 & Knuckles[]
By using trademarked 'Lock-On Technology' feature, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 can be inserted into a top slot adapter of Sonic & Knuckles cartridge, resulting a combined game with all zones of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles as any of the three available characters. The title screen alters accordingly.
Originally used for Sega Mega Drive Classic Collection Volume 3.[5]Sega delisted Steam release of the game in May 20th, 2022 ahead of Sonic Origins's release, marking this version of the game officially unavailable.[6]

It also involved designing and creating the in-game assets for all the front end menus and ingame menus that weren’t part of the original game play and creating sprite sheets for the EFIGS language conversions.”
