Sony Max 2 is a Hindi classic movie channel that shows Hindi movies released before the early 2000s, similar to Zee Classic, as well as lesser-known movies of the 2000s and 2010s, similar to Zee Bollywood and Star Gold 2. It was launched in May 2014 and underwent a rebranding in April 2017.

The launch graphics were created by Australia-based Mark Boey, who also designed the graphics for Sony TV in 2013 and Sony Pal in 2014 (as part of the Ink Project design firm), as well as Zee’s &TV in 2015. The theme colours were violet, purple and orange, and the popular FF Din font was used in on-air typography.
Since 2019, these graphics are being reused by sister Hindi movie channel Sony Wah, though with an orange-and-pink colour scheme.
2017–present
A new graphics package was introduced on 1 April 2017 wherein layers of a spiral shape change colours rapidly against a yellow background. The new on-screen typeface is the rare and little-known BigCity Grotesque.
