Sony Pix (stylised as Sony PIX) is an Indian English-language movie channel that shows Hollywood movies. It was launched in April 2006[1] by SET India (now Sony Pictures Networks India). Its main competitors are Star Movies, &flix, Movies Now and MNX.
SPN launched another English movie channel in 2016—Sony Le Plex HD—for niche, premium movies, but it was shut down on New Year’s Eve 2018.

When Sony Mix was launched on 1 September 2011, Sony TV, Sony Sab, Sony Max, Sony Pix and Sony Aath added the word ‘Sony’ in a black rectangle on top of their logos, though the graphics were not changed.
2013–present
Sony Pix rebranded on 27 October 2013 with a new logo, graphics package and slogan (Stay Amazed). This was to coincide with the Indian television première of the James Bond movie Skyfall.
The graphics were created by Argentine design agencies Medialuna, later renamed to Tónika. Medialuna later rebranded the (now-defunct) sister movie channel Sony Le Plex HD, as well as SPN’s flagship channel, SET, in 2016 (along with another Argentine agency, Naranja y Canela, which merged with it to form Tónika).
The Klavika and Flama fonts are used in on-screen typography. The brand colours are electric blue and neon green.

Sony Pix HD was quietly launched during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in June, without any prior announcement, years ahead of more popular channels like Sony Max and Sony Sab (their HD feeds were launched only in December 2015 and September 2016, respectively). It became SPN’s third HD channel, after Sony Six HD and SET HD, which were launched in 2012.
