Sony Sports Network (SSN) is one of the two biggest TV sports broadcasters in India, the other being Star Sports. It was formed on 18 July 2017 after Sony Pictures Networks India introduced a new logo scheme for its existing sports channels (Sony Six and the now-defunct Sony ESPN), and the Ten-branded channels that were acquired earlier in 2017 from Zee (Sony Ten 1, 2, 3 and the now-defunct Sony Ten Golf HD).
Since then, SPSN has launched Sony Ten 4 and shut down Sony ESPN and Sony Ten Golf HD.
