Squarespace was founded in January of 2004.

In June 2004, the slogan was changed, and the rest of the website was revamped entirely.

In June 2004, Squarespace introduced a new icon and a blocky wordmark.

2005–2006[]

In March 2005, the logo became whiter, and the slogan was moved to the left.

2006–2008[]

In May 2006, the logo became fully white. The slogan was also moved back to the right.

The header went through an alteration one month later, in June 2006, although the logo remained the same unlike most of the times this happened.

2008–2009[]

In July 2008, the slogan was dropped, and the logo gained a greyscale gradient. The wordmark was also slightly altered.

2009–present[]

2009–2018[]

Squarespace went through a major overhaul in February 2009, changing many aspects of the website. The logo would continue to feature a slogan until August 2011.

In August 2012, Squarespace stopped using unique logos for their website, switching to flat logos.
