Star+ was a general entertainment streaming service in the Latin America region which featured content from Disney Television Studios (including ABC Signature, 20th Television, 20th Television Animation and Searchlight Television), FX, Freeform, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures and third party content licensed from Sony, NBCUniversal, Lionsgate and Paramount, as well as sports content from ESPN Latin America and ESPN Brazil.

On March 28, 2024, Disney Streaming announced that Star+ and its content (including ESPN sports broadcasts) were to be absorbed by Disney+, under ESPN and Star-branded hubs. The content merge took effect on June 26, 2024, while the standalone service was discontinued on July 24, 2024.[1][2]
