Star Bharat is a Hindi general entertainment channel in India that complements Star’s flagship channel, Star Plus, along with Star Utsav. It was launched in 2004 as Star One and rebranded in 2011 as Life OK, before adopting its current name in 2017. Much like Star Plus, it rivals Zee TV, Sony TV, Colors and Sony Sab.
The word Bharat means India in several Indian languages, and is also used in the names of other channels such as Republic Bharat and TV9 Bharatvarsh.
