The game was slated for release in 1996, but was cancelled due to the quickly approaching launch of the Nintendo 64 and the release of Star Fox 64 shortly after.
2017
Despite not seeing a release in SNES era, the game resurfaced as in 2017 as a full game packaged with the SNES Classic Edition.
