Star Gold Select is a channel airing popular, critically acclaimed and niche Hindi movies. The HD version was launched on 6 March 2017, the same day as Sony BBC Earth , and the SD version followed on 28 June.
A similar channel is ZEEL ’s &xplor HD , which launched in July 2019.

This channel was the first to use this logo design which was then used by all the future Star Gold channels however since this logo came out in 2017 it didn't use the same font as its sister channels and has yet to be updated.
