Star Movies

Star Movies introduced a new logo and look on 1 January 2009. The logo and graphics package in India has remained unchanged for more than a decade since then. However, Star Movies in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong rebranded twice (for most of those countries): first to Fox Movies Premium in 2012 and then to Fox Movies in 2017.

Star Movies HD India

Star Movies launched an HD feed on 15 April 2011 along with Star Plus, Star Gold and Star World. These channels, along with National Geographic Channel HD (which had been launched in 2010), were branded by the Star network as Asli HD (real HD) channels, since India had only just been introduced to high-definition television in 2010.
