Star Movies Select is a niche premium English movie channel in India owned by the Star TV network. It was launched on 9 July 2015 only in HD. An SD version was supposed to be launched in early 2020, but after several delays, it is scheduled to be launched on 15 March 2023, along with several other Disney and Star channels on that day.[1] Its premium competitors include MN+ HD and &privé HD , as well as the erstwhile Sony Le Plex HD .
