In 2014, Star Records changed its name to Star Music, with the new logo featuring a flower with a red dot (a record symbol) at the center as the dot at the top, the word "starmusic" (with "music" in bold), and the byline "An ABS-CBN Company" (with ABS-CBN in its 2014 horizontal text) below the logo.

Despite the name change, the "Music in this video" section of some YouTube videos of a song that was sung by its artists or singers and on video descriptions of a song of its artists (including collaborations; where the ABS-CBN Corporation name (the recording company's parent company) is mentioned) still use the Star Records name, and the corporate name of the recording company Star Recording, Inc. is still used until today.
