Star Sports First is a Hindi-language sports TV channel from India’s Star Sports network. It was launched on 21 July 2017 as a free-to-air channel on the government-owned DD Free Dish platform.
Despite several Hindi entertainment and movie channels being removed from DD Free Dish in March 2019, as a result of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s drastic changes in TV channel pricing and packaging in December 2018 and January 2019, Star Sports First continues to be available on DD Free Dish. Zee’s Big Magic has not been removed either.
