On July 1, 1992, Star Entertainment changed its name to Star Plus. The new branding was first used in the Indian version of the channel five months earlier.

A fresh look for the Star TV Network was introduced on 30 March 1996. All of the Star TV Network channels adopted logos with a rotating star and a square.

Star World in Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East introduced a new logo and look on 22 December 2008. It was the first channel to drop the old logo scheme of the Star TV Network (the name of the channel next to the Star logo icon, contained within a rectangle with two opposite corners rounded) that had been used throughout the 2000s. This logo was still used by the Indian feed until its upcoming shutdown in December 2021; see Star World (India).

A new look and logo for the Southeast Asian version of Star World were introduced on 11 November 2010. The new graphics package was designed by Superestudio of Argentina. This logo and the subsequent logos and graphics were also introduced by the Middle Eastern version of Star World, but never in India.

On 2 August 2013, Star World was given a new look and logo. In the Philippines, the logo was adopted in November 2013. The new graphics package was designed by Argentine design agency Eloisa.
