Starz! Kids was officially launched on December 2, 2003 as an additional multiplex channel aimed at preschool and younger school-age children, initially available on select cable systems.
On March 28, 2005, the channel was merged with Starz! Family to become Starz Kids & Family, coinciding with Starz' first major rebrand.
