The logo for Super Mario Odyssey was updated after Nintendo's E3 2017 presentation. The update included the tweaking of several colors (most noticeably the M, A, R and I), addition of bevels around the text edges, addition of shadows, depth to the globe, and a more defined iris for Cappy's eyes. The game was officially released later in 2017.
