The film from which this logo was drawn, which was slated to star Milly Alcock in the title role, was announced in January of 2023. Originally, the film was titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow; the title was later changed to simply Supergirl in July of 2025. The logo, also based on Superman's badge from the "Kingdom Come" DC Comics stories, was leaked by actor David Krumholtz on April 22, 2025, via his Instagram account. The film was slated to be released on June 26, 2026.
