The film whose logo this was had been announced in 2023, and it was originally titled Superman: Legacy. The title was later changed to simply Superman on February 29, 2024. On December 16, 2024, the official logo, based on the badge design for Superman himself that was used in the "Kingdom Come" comics stories, was unveiled in a teaser poster revealed by Warner Bros. Pictures and James Gunn via their social media accounts.
The film, which starred David Corenswet in the title role, was released on July 11, 2025.
