The film was announced in 2023, originally titled as Superman: Legacy; the name was later changed to simply Superman on February 29, 2024. On December 16, 2024, the official logo was unveiled in a teaser poster revealed by Warner Bros. Pictures and James Gunn via their social media accounts.
The film is scheduled to release on July 11, 2025.
