On October 27, 2023, Synapse Softworks LLC, the company which developed Synapse X, announced the discontinuation of the software as part of a new partnership with Roblox Corporation. Following the establishment of the partnership, Synapse Softworks now works to develop and improve Roblox's anti-cheat software rather than develop Roblox exploiting software. This announcement occurred less than one week after the owners of the most well-known Roblox hacking forum, V3rmillion, announced their plans to cease operations and sell off their domain.
