Following litigation from I Can't Believe It's Yogurt due to This Can't Be Yogurt's name and operating practices imitating their own, the chain adopted the abbreviated name of TCBY Yogurt on October 29, 1984. The meaning of this acronym was also changed to "The Country's Best Yogurt". The previous logo would continue to be used in some areas until the next update.
