The logo has been adjusted to make the G's stroke match with the T to flow better, detaching it from the original TnaG style.[1][2][3]

A translucent version of the logo was introduced in 2017. The previous logo continued to be used online until 2019, and on idents until February 2021. Following the 2021 rebrand, this logo remains in use online, for Nuacht TG4, and as the on-screen bug.

On 1 February 2021, TG4 revealed graphics designed by Red Bee Media.[4][5][6] With this, the 2012 logo was officially retired in favour of a flat variant.
