TV5Monde, simply known as TV5, is the Francophone international television network jointly run by French broadcasters (France Televisions of France; RTBF of Belgium; SRG SSR of Switzerland; CBC and Tele-Quebec of Canada).

It was launched in January 1984 as a joint venture of 5 French broadcasters (TF1, Antenne 2, FR3 of France; TSR of Switzerland; and RTBF of Belgium).
