TV5 (pronounced TV Viisi) is the flagship TV channel of Discovery Finland, with a smaller market share than its primary competitors MTV3 and Nelonen.

TV Viisi (also called TV5) was originally launched in March 2004, but was quickly replaced by The Voice TV in November the same year.

TV Viisi was relaunched in September 2008 and began operating on the same channel as The Voice TV.

TV5[]

2010–2019[]

TV Viisi's visual identity was overhauled on 1 October 2010, and the channel now used the same logo and idents of its Swedish counterpart Kanal 5.

In 2011, TV5 was split from The Voice TV as a separate channel.
