TV8 Sweden was launched on October 15, 1997. Its original identity was created by Novocom.[1]

On September 1, 2007, TV8 Sweden was launched in the analogue package of the cable distributor Com hem. At the same time in preparation of this increased distribution, TV8 Sweden got a graphical makeover and a new logo. The slogan was changed from Tänk om to Världen omkring dig which was thorougly discontinued on May 29, 2011
