tvN is South Korea's comprehensive entertainment pay-tv channel and a flagship TV brand owned by CJ ENM. It is a comprehensive variety channel that mainly produces entertainment programs such as dramas and variety shows, and also airs current affairs and educational programs produced by itself as a supplementary program. It has been heralded as the 'No. 1 K-Contents channel' due to its wide variety of dramas and shows they've produced over the years.
2006–2009[]
tvN was launched on October 9th, 2006 under former KMTV's operator 'CJ Sound' and was initially available on CJ Hellovision before it became available on other providers.
2008–2012[]
In September 2008, tvN changed its logo to refresh its image. This logo would later be used for its Asian counterpart of the channel when it launched a year later.
2012–present[]
2012–2021[]
In May 2012, tvN refreshed its logo to reflect the channel's 'Asia No. 1' image.
2021–present[]
The logo was slightly altered to streamline its offering with its other channels in the tvN portfolio. And since then, it has positioned itself as the 'No. 1 K-Contents Channel' due to its slew of successful drama titles.
