TVP Info is a Polish public television news channel that replaced TVP3, which was a common television channel for TVP regional stations. In 2013, the channel ceased producing regional programmes, due to a standalone channel being formed again.

On December 19, 2023, the Sejm passed the resolution demanding the restoration of legal order at public broadcasters with 244 votes in favor. At the same time, the Minister of Culture dismissed the authorities of public media, including TVP.
On the following day, TVP Info, along with the other 4 channels, went off-air in response to the Government takeover. Before the closure occurred, the signal was switched to TVP1. Their websites, including TVP Info, were also redirected to the main TVP website following the closure.

On December 28, 2023, Grzegorz Sajór, the new CEO of TAI, confirmed that TVP Info will be re-launched on December 29 after multiple outlets' reports. TVP Info was re-launched a day later, with 19:30 being aired as the first program on this channel.
Prior to the rebrand completion, an inverted logo was used on-air after the re-launch. The main logo would be launched in January 2024, when they regained control of their social media platforms and the website.

On August 16, 2024, Telewizja Polska announced that they're preparing to launch a new studio and branding for TVP Info. Tomasz Sygut also announced that the logo would be changed as well; it was launched on September 30 the same year.
