TVR 3 is a Romanian television channel, owned by Televiziunea Română. It broadcasts regional programming from the other TVR studios, as well as other programs, mostly folklore or archive-related.

2007–2008[]

TVR 3 was launched as TVR București in January 2007.

2008–2010[]

TVR București was renamed to TVR 3 on October 10, 2008. Despite this, its old name continued to be used on Bucharest's regional studio.

2010–2013[]

2013–2017[]

On December 5, 2013, TVR 3 changed its primary color to green, following the closure of TVR Cultural (which used the same color prior). This logo was still used as a secondary until 2019.

2017–2019, 2021[]

On April 1, 2017, at midnight in Romanian time, the number 3 was changed from green to silver, to match TVR 1 and TVR 2. Briefly reused as an on-screen bug in 2021.

2019–2022[]

November 3, 2019

On February 2, 2019, TVR 3 slightly updated its logo. However, it was short-lived, as it was replaced with the 2017 logo (seen above) near afternoon. It was relaunched on November 3, 2019, following the launch of TVR 1 and TVR 2's HD feeds.

An HD simulcast was launched in tests on TVR+ on October 13, 2020.

This logo was still used when TVR 3 aired reruns of Ukrainian television, although it was finally replaced by the 2022 logo nearly 2 months later, on January 10, 2023.

2022–present[]

On November 15, 2022, TVR 3 and the other TVR channels had made their logos flat with the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Prior to December 5, 2022, these logos were only seen on-air and in promos.
