TV Azteca (abbreviated from Televisión Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V.) is the second-largest mass media network (and before 1993, it was Imevisión) in Mexico, owned by Grupo Salinas. Since its creation, its channels have been separated in twain between Azteca Uno and Azteca 7; created two more national networks afterwards: ADN 40 and A+, including three international networks outside of Mexico. It is the second-largest mass media company in Mexico after Televisa, and one of the largest producers of telenovelas, along with Televisa, Telemundo and TV Globo.

In the search for creating a fresher and younger image and influenced by a commercial alliance and content deal with the American company NBC, which presupposed the purchase of 10% to 20% of the company by NBC, in mid-1994, the eagle was colored, taking five of the six colors of the NBC logo that had Canal Trece (XHDF), only in reverse order: Green, blue, purple, red and yellow.
