TV Brasil is a public television broadcaster owned and operated by Empresa Brasil de Comunicação, part of the Federal Government of Brazil. TV Brasil was originally launched on December 2, 2007, after a merger between Radiobrás (owners of TV Nacional) and Associação de Comunicação Educativa Roquette Pinto (owners of TVE Brasil), with the main headquarters in Brasilia, broadcasting nationwide by the Rede Pública de Televisão.

On February 28, 2008, TV Brasil changed the kerning in their logo to make it look more readable.
2008–2012[]
2008–2009[]
On December 3, 2008, TV Brasil changed its logo again to commemorate one year of creation. The name receives a new font and gains a symbol above the name. This symbol is an integration format colored with three shades of blue.

On July 24, 2009, TV Brasil updated its logo. The typography is updated and the colors are more vivid in addition to gaining more opacity.

In September 25, 2012, TV Brasil introduced a new graphic package. A symbol did not appear in it. When the channel rebranded again in 2015, the symbol was removed from its on-screen bug. It was still seen on the station's microphones until 2019.
2019–2023[]
In April 2019, TV Brasil was relaunched, merging with NBR (the latter was closed and folded into TV Brasil 2).
