The logo is derived from sister station TV Brasília. The frequency was activated in 1987 as a soft-relay of TV Brasília (with local inserts and programming from 1991, becoming a station in its own right) called Rede Manchete Centro. This arrangement was withdrawn in 1996 and the station opted to join Rede Bandeirantes.
