TV Plus was a Dutch satellite channel that broadcast between 1992 and 1996. It was owned by the NOS, NOB and PTT. In an initial stage (December 1992 to June 1993) it shared its transponder with Polsat (at the time legally broadcasting from Hilversum). Its unique characteristic was the fact that it was a widescreen channel - the first of its kind in Europe - its schedule consisted of movies, documentaries and even some sporting events. The channel was scrambled.
