TV Bauru started broadcasting in 1960, the station is the oldest inland station in the state of São Paulo still on air. It was founded by Organizações Victor Costa, owners of TV Paulista. The logo is a Saci, a character of brazilian folklore, drawn reminiscent of blackface, sitting atop a globe with the words "Channel 2 Bauru" to the right.
1965-1966[]
The OVC TV assets, including TV Bauru, were handed over to Organizações Globo in 1965-1966. In station IDs, a "fatter" version of the Globo windmill was used.
1966-1976[]
This was the first logo under the ownership of Organizaçoes Globo which acquired the station in 1966.

As part of a project led by the network’s Center of Affiliates and Expansion, Rede Globo Oeste Paulista was given a facelift in 1998 and was renamed TV Modelo.

In 2003, Globo sold TV Aliança, TV Modelo and TV Progresso to businessman J.Hawilla and formed TV TEM with TV Modelo becoming TV TEM Bauru.
