TV Tupi Rio de Janeiro was a television network broadcasted by Rede Tupi de Televisão. It was the second television channel of Brazil, founded on January 20, 1951 by Assis Chateaubriand and defunct on July 18, 1980, at around 12:00 PM. The station goes to Adolpho Bloch to form Rede Manchete, along with other Rede Tupi stations and 1 stations from TV Excelsior.
