Design history of the 1995 CG Fox Searchlight logo (not the still logo)

I have concern of the design of the 1995 Fox Searghlight logo used since The Brothers McMullen (1995). I have constructed some theory drawings that seem to indicate what the design looks like in the making of the logo. The screencaps that hint to the theory is:

And here are the drawings:

I think the twinning is because the curve block on the left with "steps" was placed on the center. On the '94 TCF logo, that block is on the left and has just has one curve block and a wall (Look at the Men of Honor variant for the color difference. That is the full open matte version.) unlike this which is twinned on the center. The hidden searchlight is probaly placed in the "stage" behind the twinned piece. That means the funnel-ish piece (The one with lines on it) is on the left as well but is hard to see. I need the design history!

I know Flp Your Lid did do the still FSL logo as well as the logos for TCF, TCFTV, TTV, Fox Television Studios (Not the 09, 07 and 08 versions of respective logos) & Fox Lab, and Foxstar Productions and Fox World, among others. But this logo is probally done by an independent animation studio for Fox Searchlight. As always versus Big studio stuff, Indies tend to have more realism than the big boys. Yes, the '11 FSL logo is accurate on lighting and shaders, but this is accurate on lens flares and the sky. Where I live and what I see, I tend to see that type of sky all the time.

Anybody know if there is a making of featurette of this, or at least, the 94 TCF or 2009 TCF logos?

I'm not 100% sure. Rodney16 (talk) 14:24, July 10, 2014 (UTC)
