1955 saw the club became Associazione Sportiva Taranto.
1985-1989[]
Thirty years later they turned into Taranto Football Club S.p.A.
1989-1993[]
1993-1998[]
In 1993 Taranto FC assumed the name Taranto Calcio 1906.
1998-2000[]
By 1998, they rebranded to Unione Sportiva Arsenaltaranto,
2000-2005[]
The Arsenaltaranto designation was dropped again in 2000, this time for good: firstly to Taranto Calcio S.r.l. before becoming Taranto Sport S.r.l. in 2005.
2005-2009[]
Taranto Sport became AS Taranto Calcio in 2009.
2009-2012[]
In 2012, the club changed to Taranto Football Club 1927 S.p.A.
2012-2018[]
In 2015, Taranto became Società Sportiva Dilettantistica Taranto Football Club 1927. This identity lasted just one year, as in 2016 they became Taranto Football Club 1927 S.r.l.
