Alexander "Alex" (June 1, 1999 – June 2022), better known online as Technoblade (or simply Techno), was an American gaming YouTuber known for his Minecraft content and collaborations with other YouTubers and Twitch streamers.

Before the creation of his main YouTube channel, "Technoblade", he had another channel named "StudioLore", in which he posted a relatively small amount of irregular low-quality Team Fortress 2 videos, among others until the channel went inactive on August 2013, and roughly two months.

On August 27, 2021, he announced was confirmed diagnosed with sarcoma until his passed away on around June 2022. On June 30, 2022, a video was uploaded to Technoblade's channel titled "so long nerds"[1], in which his death was announced by his father, along with a short script written by Technoblade approximately 8 hours before passing, with a slideshow of a few pictures of him.[2]
