The Telad model was upgraded to a commercial broadcaster after winning the right to broadcast Channel 2, along with the new created ones; Keshet and Reshet.

In 2005, Telad stopped broadcasting on Channel 2 after losing its new decade contract. Nowadays, Telad is an independent commercial production company and currently operates the local versions of E!, History and Lifetime. It also operates Yes Israeli Cinema. Between 2008 and 2009, Telad operated the female-interest channel, She.
