To coincide with the launch of Tele 5 from Spain on 3 March 1989, Tele5 Germany renewed its logo by putting the symbol inside a red circle making the 5-numeral and the flower become coloured in white instead of red and orange. With it, the word "TELE" are also put inside the red circle, making the word "TELE" become straightened modified to spell out for say the channel's full name.
But before that, this logo was first appeared in 1989
The channel went off the air on December 31, 1992 when DSF took over its frequencies.
In 2002, 10 years after the shutdown of Tele 5, the station was relaunched.
On September 22, 2005, Tele 5 was relaunched as a movie channel (Der Spielfilmsender "The Movie Broadcaster") with a new look. The new look was created by Opium Effect.
Tele 5 introduced a new logo on January 8, 2010.
