To coincide with the launch of Tele 5 from Spain on 3 March 1990, Tele5 Germany renewed its logo by putting the symbol inside a red circle making the 5-numeral and the flower become coloured in white instead of red and orange. With it, the word "TELE" are also put inside the red circle, making the word "TELE" become straightened modified to spell out for say the channel's full name.

The channel went off the air on 31 December 1992 when DSF took over its frequencies.

2002–2005[]

In 2002, 10 years after the closure, Tele 5 was relaunched.

2005–2010[]

On 22 September 2005, Tele 5 was re-launched as a movie channel (Der Spielfilmsender "The Movie Broadcaster") with a new look. The new look was created by Opium Effect.
