Televisió de Catalunya appeared together with the creation of TV3, the Catalan public channel. In 1989, the official broadcasts of its second channel, Canal 33, was launched.

Along with the change of TV3's logo, Televisió de Catalunya adopted a new corporate image that combined versions of the logos of its two channels: TV3 and Canal 33. This logo was used for several years, probably until 2005.
In 1998, Televisió de Catalunya presented a graphic adventure game called “3 i a dins!”, celebrating its 15th anniversary.
Two logos were used during this period. The second one, which is four bars with the text “Televisió de Catalunya” below, seems to have been established in 2004 on the web page, but in the video game “3 i a dins!” of 1998 it already appeared in the presentation.
