Since 2016 the brand TVE has been phased out as an umbrella brand for RTVE's TV channels. According to Summa (creator of the original 2008 logo), "the hybridization of content and platforms is a reality, so the organization of RTVE brands based on media (TV, radio and internet) required a review"^[1]. The TVE name is still used for the international TV channel.
