For 1985 the logo would be kept, but the motto was replaced with TVN, being the first time that name was used as part of the channel's logo. Starting in 1986, this logo was used in tandem with the next one (the revised version of the first logo), being retired in January 1988.

TVN's first mourning logo consisted on a black line, added below the TVN logo.
From September 2 to October 3, 2011: Death of 5 members of the program Buenos Días a Todos (TV hosts Felipe Camiroaga and Roberto Bruce, Sylvia Slier, Carolina Gatica and Rodrigo Cabezón) on a plane crash in Robinson Crusoe Island.
From September 11 to September 13, 2012: Passing away of Sergio Livingstone, sport journalist on TVN.
From April 20 to April 22, 2016: Passing away of Patricio Aylwin, former president of Chile and the first under the new democracy.
2023-present[]
Its second mourning logo consisted on the main TVN logo in black (which is also the printed variant).
May 20, 2023: Passing away of Augusto Góngora, presenter, journalist and leader of TVN's cultural programming division.
August 5, 2023: Passing away of Luis Alarcón, cinema, theater and television actor.
October 22, 2023: Passing away of Enrique Maluenda, TV presenter known for the Festival de la Una program.
February 6, 2024: Passing away of Sebastián Piñera, former president of Chile.
