TFL Rail is the interim name for the Elizabeth Line.
Services began in May 2015 with Liverpool Street-Shenfield services transferred from Greater Anglia. In May 2018, Heathrow Connect services were transferred to TfL Rail in preparation for the launch of the Elizabeth Line.
