1988–1989
Thameslink began as a Network SouthEast brand for the newly launched cross London services.
1989–1994
1994–1997
In 1994, Network SouthEast was divided into eleven separate companies, each of which would later be individually privatised. At this time, Thameslink was rebranded. Go-via was awarded the Thameslink franchise in 1997.
1997–2006
In 2006, the Thameslink franchise merged with the Great Northern franchise to become the Thameslink Great Northern franchise.
