In January 2002, the first logo for Noggin's new block The N was revealed in a trademark filing. It had a round "Noggin" button on the bottom, which was phased out before the block's release.

On October 5, 2007, the block introduced a new logo with atom shapes instead of a hand shape. The letter "N" resembles that of the 2009 Nickelodeon logo. On December 31, the block was moved from Noggin to a new channel, which carried TEENick programming throughout the day and relegated The N's content to a block at night. The N's branding was slowly phased out, and the entire channel was rebranded into TeenNick in 2009.
